Perhaps that is because so many people, used to living a material life, are starting to question why all these things don t make them happy, or even satisfied. Some are realizing that they can get more by living with less. What is Minimalism? Minimalism has several meanings, some are related to art and music and others refer to interior design and architecture, Still others are political in nature. The dictionaries I looked at do not even mention minimalism as a lifestyle choice so I will try to define it in my own words. Minimalism is a lifestyle that involves living with only what is necessary for happiness, health and general well-being. I tend to take a softer approach to being a minimalist. I believe it is more of a journey than a destination. Some people may want to jump in head first and get rid of every single unnecessary item in their house overnight.
